Our story

BBF is a lifestyle label based in Paris. We create products that blend Eastern and Western cultures. We want to give you a new way of thinking about and feeling this world.

The year 2020 was marked by a worldwide crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, but also by economic plights and political disputes. With the inspiration of the ancient Eastern philosophy: “Yi JING”(易经, Book of Changes), “Yi” scented candles are launched.

The scented candle collection was born at 140 Rennes Road, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. It has been carefully developed by our design team and the best French perfumers over three years, made in Grasse, France, the most prestigious worldwide perfume capital.

By the end of 2021, life was gradually recovering. The pandemic has set all of us in perspective. A house is a safe place, where it is important to feel relaxed and in a good mindset. This is why we thought about creating home accessories and furniture, still inspired by Oriental culture.
