Chinese tea-producing regions
China currently produces around 3,100,000 tonnes a year (2021 statistics), in 18 different provinces (Zhe Jiang, Fujian, Anhui, Guizhou, etc), mainly green tea (around 73% of production). Chinese clearly used to favour green tea. With the development of tea houses over the last thirty years and the growing interest of the middle classes, other teas such as black (red) teas, white teas and oolong teas are becoming more widespread.

Mount Wuyi

Our black and oolong tea plantations are located in the heart of the Wuyi mountains in China's Fujian province, the only place in the world where the Da Hong Pao and Lapsang Souchong tea plants grow.
These two teas have become famous worldwide and are considered the finest teas in the world.
Mount Huang
Anhui
Mount Huang, also known as Mount Huangshan, is one of the most famous regions in China for tea production. Located in the Anhui province in eastern China, Mount Huang is renowned for its spectacular landscapes, steep peaks, misty clouds, and dense forests. This unique nature creates ideal conditions for cultivating some of China's most renowned teas.
The Tai Ping Hou Kui plantations are situated at high altitudes, typically between 700 and 1,000 meters, where the climate is cool and humid, combined with nutrient-rich soils, providing ideal conditions for growing this prestigious tea. The ecological environment is excellent and there is no industrial pollution.

Zhejiang
Zhejiang is a province located on the east coast of China, and it is renowned for the production of high-quality tea. Zhejiang tea is famous both in China and worldwide.
This province is known for producing many different types of tea, the most famous of which are green tea and Long Jing (or Dragon's Well) tea. Zhejiang green tea is highly valued for its fresh, herbal flavour, as well as for its health benefits. Longjing tea is considered one of the finest green teas in China and is often presented as a prestigious tea. It is characterized by its flat leaves and sweet, refreshing flavor. The most sought-after teas, rare and highly prestigious Mei Jia Wu and Shi Feng (Lion's Peak), both from villages in Zhejiang, are considered Grand Cru Long Jing teas.
Fuding
Fujian
Fuding is a city located in the Fujian province in eastern China. It is one of the major areas of white tea production in China.
Fuding's white tea is particularly famous for its delicacy and sweet flavor. It is made from the young buds of the tea plant and is characterized by its fuzzy and silvery leaves. The manufacturing process of Fuding's white tea is very exquisite and requires special attention to preserve its delicate flavor.
White tea with Chen Pi is an interesting and delicious variation of the traditional white tea from Fuding. Chen Pi refers to dried mandarin peel, which is added to the white tea leaves during infusion to give it a distinctive flavor and aroma.
