In China, luxurious cabinet-making and furniture appeared during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Only wealthy families, noble houses, high officials could afford hardwood furniture. Rosewood was one of those woods prized for its red-brown color, its resistance, and the floral aromas it gives off when worked. Today, we want to continue this tradition by merging it with a modern and clean aesthetic.
Manufacturing:
Our trays are handcrafted with great care using the tenon-mortise assembly method. No glue is used.
